If you genuinely engage and participate in becoming the most effective version of YOU, you will realize it takes diligence and a willingness to continuously get better. Our company name is Top 20 Training, and as a reminder to those of you reading this that have forgotten, the language “Top 20” is simply meant to refer to the moments in our days and lives where we are truly operating at our most effective self. That’s the goal, but we know that it is unrealistic to operate there all the time. However, it remains the ever-present mission and is only attainable if we/you are willing to chase after it.
How willing are you to engage in ideas, tools, and strategies that bring your most effective self out as often as possible? How willing are you to use these tools in the normal experiences of your life? Bettering your best is important because, when you stop getting better, sooner or later you stop being good, and later always comes sooner than you think.
So, you should probably stop reading this email (and the next handful of Wellness Wednesday messages) if you don’t want:
- better relationships with your family and friends.
- more relevance and less boredom in your work or school day.
- a deeper self-understanding.
- as many happy days as possible.
- to become better at being you.
The next few Wellness Wednesday messages will share simple, easy-to-implement strategies and ideas to bring your most effective self out more often!
In preparation for that:
- Identify five people you know who are highly effective in their day-to-day lives.
- What qualities or characteristics do they have?
- What are they “doing” that you admire? (habits, work ethic, states of mind, etc.)
Keep those people in mind and be sure to read next week’s WW to continue your journey to being more effective, more of the time!
